THE PERFECT GIFT
Christmas is here again and many of us are looking for “the perfect gift”. We search the shops for a gift to express our love, friendship, and admiration for our family and friends. What a joy it is when we finally find it!
To an impoverished child, the perfect gift is often as simple as a hot meal. A soft toy to hug is a perfect gift when the love of a parent is lost. A box of food delivered directly to the home of a hurting family is a good and perfect gift arriving just in time.
At Children’s Hunger Fund®, we know that only God can give a perfect gift. The Bible says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights…” (James 1:17) So, we seek to be an extension of His hand of compassion, reaching out to give gifts that bring hope and help to hungry children across America and around the world, drawing them to Himself. The churches and ministries who distribute CHF products in their own neighborhoods and villages know that they give gifts directly from the hand of God. These gifts open relationships with the poor so they can know that God provides.
